Apogee providescalibration services forthe sensor used in our monitoring systems, ensuring long-term accuracy, reliability, and compliance with engineering requirements.
Sensor Calibration Program
Different sensors have different recommended calibration cycles based on their operating principles and application environments:
• Vibration Meter Sensors
Recommended calibration interval: once every 1 year
To minimize operational disruption, Apogee will provide a replacement sensor of the same type. Your team can install the replacement unit on-site while the original sensor is sent for calibration. Once calibration is completed, the original sensor can be reinstalled back at your convenience.
• Wireless Tilt Meter
Recommended calibration interval: once every 3 years
This extended cycle reflects the long-term stability and reliability of the inclinometer models recommended by Apogee.
Minimal Downtime, Continuous Monitoring
Our sensor replacement and calibration process is designed to avoid data interruption and system downtime, allowing your monitoring operations to continue without interruption throughout the calibration period.
By following Apogee’s calibration recommendations, you can maintain measurement accuracy, extend equipment service life, and ensure that your monitoring data remains dependable for critical engineering decisions.
